Overview

Quick and effective product troubleshooting is critical for any manufacturers to stay competitive in any industry. Unplanned downtime can be avoided with the right technology to troubleshoot problems on the production floor, reducing repair requirements and costs.

Controlar troubleshooting systems allow proper troubleshooting procedures to be performed on non-conforming PCBAs or defective products ensuring quality validation at the beginning or end of the production line.

Our troubleshooting testers work as a powerful assistance tool, allowing the operator to perform a wide array of tests to find the problem and identify why the non-conformance happened.

By collecting, analyzing, and providing data from the faulty product, workers can diagnose the type of fault and act based on the results, i.e take corrective action and find a repair solution to fix the cause, while containing the problem to keep it from spreading, at the same time.

Product configuration

Our reference troubleshooting equipment is based on a vertical frame type structure containing a 19” rack and a wide horizontal ESD work area for placing the DUT to be diagnosed. An appropriate cable and connector are provided to energize and communicate with the DUT/diagnosis.

The rack usually includes a power supply, a DMM, an industrial PC with power supply control software, CAN/FLEXRAY/XCP/DoIP/LIN communication cards and DAQ. Signal conditioning and signal multiplexing up to the DMM are performed through a TroubleBox.

Main applications

These testers are developed to meet the high standards of the automotive industry, which makes it also suitable for other industries, such as consumer and industrial electronics, with the possibility of being customized for different types of products.
