Key Features
Fully automated line, integrating robots, heating systems, vision systems, testing systems, and printers with automatic application, minimizing human intervention.
Specialized stations, with the capability to process multiple units simultaneously, optimizing workflow and increasing productivity.
Automated and high-precision inspection, composed of two sets of vision systems that ensure the simultaneous inspection of pins and labels.
Use of automatic elevators, dual transport systems, and the indexing of pallets at various stations, ensuring the correct alignment and positioning of units throughout the line, improving production flow and reducing the risk of errors.
Enhanced printing process with automatic printers that apply final labels to the units accurately and efficiently.
Overview
The line is divided into four distinct stations, described below:
Palletizing and Pre-Heating: This is the entry station of the line, responsible for automatic loading and palletizing of products entering the machine via two conveyer belts. It also preheats the product (CMC) to specified temperatures required for testing.
It is equipped with a pick & place robot whose function is to palletize the units. It also has a set of four furnace modules where the units are heated before being transferred to the next station. There is an automatic elevator that transfers the pallet from the lower conveyor to the upper one.
EOL and Burn-In: In this station, functional tests are performed to ensure the quality and compliance of the products within the customer’s specifications.
This automated process guarantees efficiency, accuracy, and traceability at each stage of production. It consists of two modules, each equipped with six nests, allowing for the simultaneous testing of 12 units.
Inspection and Labelling: This station is designed to inspect and validate the unit pins, automatically apply the final label, and conduct subsequent inspections and validations.
It features a set of dedicated vision systems for pin inspection and another for label inspection, along with two automatic printers for the efficient application of the final product label.
Depalletizing: This station focuses on depalletizing and manual unloading of the units for further processing.
It consists of a robot with a gripper whose function is to depalletize the units from the pallet, two output conveyors for directing approved or faulty units accordingly, and an automatic elevator to transfer the pallet from the upper conveyor to the lower one.
Main Applications
This Test Line has been developed to meet the high standards of the automotive industry and designed to be flexible, allowing it to be adjusted to work with different types of products and specifications, thus meeting various customer requirements.
