Employees took part in a hands-on, collaborative experience to explore strategic planning and the challenges leading up to 2030
As part of the celebration of Creativity and Innovation Day, Controlar promoted an internal initiative focused on strategic planning, aligned with the company’s new roadmap towards 2030.
More than a theoretical session, the initiative challenged employees from different areas to understand, in practice, what a strategic plan is, what it is for, and how it is built — through a collaborative, dynamic, and action-oriented approach.
The challenge: the “Estrategium” game
The highlight of the initiative was “Estrategium”, an internally developed game where multidisciplinary teams took on the role of managing a fictional company.
Throughout the game, each team faced different strategic scenarios and was required to make decisions based on dynamic and randomized SWOT analyses. This format pushed participants to quickly adapt to changing contexts, assessing risks and opportunities, much like in real business environments.
Teams in action: deciding, prioritizing, building
During the challenge, participants defined priorities, selected strategic actions, and built coherent plans for their “companies”.
Key topics such as positioning, growth, innovation, efficiency, and people were central to decision-making, fostering critical thinking and collaboration across different roles and departments.
From game to reality
The activity concluded with the presentation of the different strategic plans developed by the teams, in a moment of sharing and collective reflection.
This session also provided an opportunity to connect the experience with Controlar’s strategic plan for 2026–2030, reinforcing the link between the exercise and the organization’s real challenges.
A moment for connection and alignment
The day ended with an informal gathering, reinforcing team spirit in a relaxed environment.
More than just a game, this initiative highlighted the importance of strategic thinking as an organization, promoting a shared understanding of Controlar’s priorities and ambitions for the future.
