Controlar developed an automated disassembly machine with the goal of recovering components that would otherwise be considered waste.
This machine performs the cut and disassembly of rejected or nonconformance components, allowing for the decoupling of parts and the recovering of the main component (a stator in this case).
The aluminum housing is recovered to be recycled whereas the main part may return to the production process to be assembled and reused.
By maintaining these components circulating longer in the process and by allowing the recycling and reuse of rejected materials instead of discarding them, this machine deserves a green card.
All it takes is a small step towards a sustainable future.
