Controlar was awarded the “Estatuto Inovadora COTEC”, which aims to promote and recognize national companies with high performance in terms of innovation. Out of 1021 applications, only 566 were awarded this status.
Launched earlier this year by COTEC Portugal, the COTEC “Innovative Status” distinguishes national companies that are examples of value creation for the country by their innovative performance.
The initiative consists of a rating that assesses the treasury solidness and the management capacity of companies, in terms of turnover, innovation, R&D and intellectual property.
This distinction will act as a seal of reputation and prestige and will allow obtaining financing at advantageous conditions from the financial sector, in addition to improving the efficiency of the banks’ credit risk management.
