The Smart USB Switch is a compact Ethernet-controlled platform designed to route one USB host connection to up to four downstream devices in automated test and industrial environments.
Combining USB 3.1 switching, integrated signal redrivers, remote Ethernet control and per-port power monitoring, it provides reliable USB connectivity while enabling test systems to remotely select devices, manage power and monitor current from a single unit.
Automated test systems often need to connect a single host to multiple USB devices while maintaining reliable high-speed communication and remote control.
The Smart USB Switch combines 1:4 USB switching, integrated signal redrivers and Ethernet-based control in a compact platform designed for automated test environments.
Downstream devices can be powered through the host USB VBUS or the integrated regulator, with up to 3 A per port and individual current monitoring for diagnostics and device validation.
Designed for ATE, manufacturing test, device qualification, HIL and industrial automation, it integrates easily into existing test architectures.
