LED and Light Guide Validation

Verify color and intensity with repeatable results

Controlar’s RGB Analyzer measures LED and light guide intensity and analyzes color in x-y and u-v spaces. It combines a light-isolated chamber, self-calibration and dedicated software for repeatable, traceable testing.

Applications include automotive lighting, backlit electronics, and aerospace and railway panels and signaling.

  • Complete cycle <13 s; intensity/color testing <3 s.
  • Self-calibration with a spectrometer and reference part.
  • HMI model selection and touchpad operation.
  • Individual pass/fail indicators for each product.

Controlled measurements, clear test results

The operator selects the model, loads the products and starts the cycle via touchpad.

The tooling enters the chamber automatically. Parts are secured and electrically connected for measurement.

Green/red indicators display individual results. Parts return to the loading area; failures require operator validation before the next cycle.
