Overview
Designed to optimize and fully automate the assembly process of IV Spikes (medical plastic conectors), this machine features a 12 position rotary indexing table, enabling the simultaneous assembly of two units per cycle.
Each station performs a specific step of the process, from automated component feeding and precise placement, to controlled tightening, real-time inspection through an artificial vision system, and automatic rejection of faulty parts.
System Configuration
The system is equipped to handle moving parts that enter the production line and go through different assembly and validation stages.
Across the 12 sequentially distributed stations, the various components are introduced, assembled, and inspected, ensuring that the final product meets the defined quality requirements.
Main Applications
This Automated Assembly System was developed to meet the high standards of the medical industry, which makes it suitable for other industries as well, and can be customized for various types of products that require automatic assembly, sorting and inspection of small components.
