The PSR – Products for a Safe Return is a co-financed project by Compete2020, with the aim of developing a modular machine for the production of different Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary for the general public, different industries and health institutions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Within these PPE, surgical masks, caps and boot covers stand out.
The project development started in July 2020 and will be completed during the 1st quarter of 2021. It has been led by Controlar with the participation of Centi – Centre of Nanotechnology and Smart Materials.
With PSR – Products for a Safe Return, Controlar aims at creating a flexible and modular solution, of great interest to the Portuguese and European industries that will require the production of such products in the near future.
