Controlar nominated for the SME Innovation COTEC-BPI Award for the sixth time

Selected from a record number of 225 applications, we are very pleased to receive this recognition for our commitment to innovation, financial robustness, and economic performance. This recognition reinforces our dedication to creating innovative solutions that drive the industry.

In the year marking the 20th edition of the COTEC-BPI SME Innovation Award, the President of the Republic, Dr. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, received representatives from the six finalist companies at the Palácio de Belém, including Carlos Alcobia, Global R&D+i Team Leader at Controlar. During the meeting, each company highlighted its commitment to innovation, sharing management practices and the culture that drives their success.

The award ceremony took place on November 19 at the Coliseu do Porto as part of the 14th Innovation Meeting for SMEs, which featured a prominent panel dedicated to the theme “Adapting, Growing, and Leading: how SMEs anticipate the future”. The panel was moderated by Jorge Portugal, general director of COTEC Portugal.

During the ceremony, Controlar was congratulated as a finalist by the President of the Republic, a recognition we received with great pride. The award was presented to Frazivel, whom we congratulate on their well-deserved victory.

Although we did not secure the win, we are proud to have earned a place among the finalists for the 6th consecutive time.
