Last week, Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa received the six finalists of the COTEC-BPI SME Innovation Award, of which Controlar is part, at Belém Palace.
Controlar was selected from over 200 companies for this award and the winner will be announced at the PME Innovation Meeting later this month.
During the audience, President Marcelo highlighted the importance of the Prize and the extension of COTEC‘s scope to the national innovation landscape.
Regarding the finalist companies, he referred to their capacity for innovation and commitment to the future, in different sectors of activity, underlining their role as a new front for structural transformation of the business fabric.
Their ability to attract national and international funding was also highlighted.
Created in 2005, the COTEC-BPI SME Innovation Award annually distinguishes an SME that has stood out on the national scene for its innovative attitude and activity, having as central objective the promotion of a consistent and continuous business innovation activity in Portugal.
The winner of the COTEC-BPI SME Innovation Award will be known on the 30th November during the 12th SME Innovation Meeting featuring two prestigious panels.
We hope to bring home the prize!
