On the past 25th of January Controlar marked 25 years of presence in the market.
Over the years we have been distinguished as one of the 100 largest Portuguese SMEs by Exame magazine, one of Europe’s fastest growing companies (the first Portuguese company in its sector) by the the Financial Times ranking – FT1000, and one of the fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA region by Deloitte.
We were also finalists for the 2018 COTEC-BPI SME Innovation Award, winners in the “Export – Large Companies” category of the Millennium BCP Horizons Awards, and were awarded the SME Excellence Award, a distinction attributed to SME companies with superior performance profiles. In addition, we continuously renewed our PME Líder (SME Leader) status granted by IAPMEI, the Portuguese Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation.
Furthermore, we successfully obtained the Quality Management Certification (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001), R&D and Innovation (NP 4457) and Information Security (ISO27001) Certifications, which strengthened our business portfolio diversity and consequently our market position.
The first jubilee of our company is, above all, a synonymous of a new evolutionary step and technological revolution in test and automation systems, of international acknowledgment, and above all, of continuous commitment to innovation. Such achievements were accomplished bearing in mind underlying concerns such as safety, eco-efficiency, creation of value in a sustained manner, social responsibility, trust, transparency and ethics.
We took advantage of this milestone in the company history to reflect upon our communication and renew our visual identity, adopting a more contemporary, renewed and harmonious image, which depicts the new reality and positioning of the company.
We want our new image to embody this evolution, maturity and growth, in a perspective of endurance, but also the face of innovation, vitality and union of a metanational company, which is becoming increasingly stronger and global.
This change will not have an impact on our relationship, but it comes with the aim of communicating our new corporate identity, consolidating Controlar position in the market and moving into new business areas.
By proudly commemorating our 25th anniversary we wish to inspire employees, suppliers, customers and partners to be part of our vision of change and expansion. We invite them to invest in technology and embrace the new challenges together with us.
Without them, we wouldn’t have made it this far. Thus, we would like to thank you for your contribution to our success. It is thanks to it that we drive growth, innovation, employability and wealth in our area of activity, in our country and in the world.
