Controlar at the first annual conference of the PRODUTECH project

On October 27th, Controlar participated in the first annual conference of the PRODUTECH 4 S&C mobilizing project. This project aims to develop strategies and methodologies to enable an effective circular and sustainable economy within the Portuguese industry.

Controlar participated in two panels, on the relevance of using data for the development of sustainable products, and on the possibility of estimating costs of equipment use for the analysis of servicification strategies (integrated offer of products and services, and not of products only).

It was also possible to obtain feedback on some of the preliminary results of the project, where the following stands out:

• Development of a platform that allows companies to have a real-time diagnosis of sustainability policies, with forecasting and shared suggestions for improvement.
• Development of an industrial symbiosis tool for sharing waste and processes between different companies. Controlar will have the opportunity to test and to be a first user of the tool.

Controlar will actively continue to participate in this project, sharing all the results in due time.
