Overview

The MILS test handling series is a versatile and cost-effective solution compatible with various electronic test technologies for PCB assembly and demanding testing applications.

It is designed to meet specific requirements for in-system programming (ISP) and functional testing (FCT), supporting a range of PCB dimensions and providing future expandability.

Additionally, the MILS series offers high handling speeds, along with a quick and easy setup process for a smooth and continuous product changeover.

Handler Configuration

  • High-strength construction: Designed with high-resistance iron and aluminum to withstand forces up to 8 kN.
  • Adjustable conveyor width: Features an automatically adjustable conveyor with programmable memory settings
  • High-speed operation: Capable of operating at speeds of up to 1000 mm/s with programmable speed settings.
  • Dual-stage pneumatic testing: Equipped with a pneumatic system for dual-stage compression testing.
  • Efficient handling: Approx. handling time of 5 seconds (machine cycle time, excluding tests).
  • Quick fixture changeover: Less than 3 minutes required for fixture changeover.
  • Fixture coding: Both top and bottom plates include fixture coding for product and fixture validation.
  • Modular pylon blocks: Designed for easy integration of instrumentation, including CAN, RF, pneumatic, or other custom requirements.
  • Flexible Communication Drivers: Supports machine control communication with .NET, NI LabWindows CVI, LabVIEW, or other third-party platforms via TCP/IP.
  • Beckhoff virtual PLC with HMI: Incorporates a Beckhoff virtual PLC for enhanced control and monitoring.
