Controlar is proud to close its first Information Security Management System audit cycle (ISO 27001)<\/strong> with Zero Non-Conformities<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The 2nd<\/sup><\/span> follow-up audit of the international standard for information security was held by the EIC certifying body on the 6th<\/sup><\/span> and 7th<\/sup><\/span> of December, in our headquarters in Alfena, near Porto.<\/p>\n

The main objective of this external audit was to verify strict compliance with the implemented Security Policies and Standards, thus closing a three-year audit cycle.<\/p>\n

The ISO 27001 certificate\u00a0lays down the bases for the certification of Information Security Management system (ISMS), which help us to protect the three tenets of Information Security:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Integrity:<\/strong> protection from unauthorized modifications of data, ensuring that data remains accurate<\/li>\n
  • Confidentiality<\/strong>: protection against unauthorized disclosure of information.<\/li>\n
  • Availability:<\/strong> ensuring data is fully available to be used when it is needed by its users\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Without the thoughtful implementation of Security Policies and Standards, we cannot guarantee interested parties that the information they share with Controlar is treated and protected according to its nature.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    With this certification, we ensure only defined assets have access to the company’s critical and confidential data.\u00a0 <\/span>And each company asset has a specific role in the information security plan.<\/p>\n

    One way to verify that the requirements remain implemented and are effective is through audits by the certifying bodies.<\/p>\n

    After a second follow up external audit of the Information Security Management System, Controlar closes a three-year audit cycle with Zero Non-Conformities<\/b>.<\/p>\n

    This result is the indicator that the entire system was implemented effectively and adjusted to our needs.
