bg_image_animation=&#8221;none&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<p class=\"p1\">Controlar&#8217;s latest R&amp;D project approved by COMPETE aims to <strong>improve the production capacity and the quality of the processes at one of the automotive plants of the PSA Group <\/strong>(now part of Stellantis), in Mangualde, Portugal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">This new project falls within the scope of the <strong>PSA Suppliers Club<\/strong>, with a consortium led by Controlar which is composed by INL (International Nanotechnology Laboratory), FEUP (OPorto Faculty of Engineering) and PSA Mangualde.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The project complies with the following aspects:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\" style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span class=\"s2\">Environmental and energy monitoring system of the Mangualde WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plant);<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\" style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span class=\"s2\">Visual inspection system for quality inspection of external auto parts;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\" style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span class=\"s2\">Portable, configurable and reprogrammable robotic system to control different defects in any PSA Mangualde workstation;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\"><span class=\"s2\">A platform that aggregates all the new capabilities and developments of the project, with the possibility of monitoring different processes at a central level.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p5\">NGQC IoRT will empower Controlar to consolidate its know-how and expertise in the area of \u200b\u200b<strong>visual inspection, collaborative robotics and IoT systems<\/strong> unlocking significant growth opportunities.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=&#8221;no-extra-padding&#8221;
