The event was a true reflection of the company&#8217;s commitment to fostering inclusivity, understanding, and appreciation among its employees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>The World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development<\/b> is celebrated to highlight the richness of the world\u2019s cultures and the essential role of intercultural dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Controlar created a lively atmosphere where employees from different backgrounds could come together, share their unique heritage, and learn from one another.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At the heart of the event was the exhibition showcasing items representing the diverse cultures of some of our international collaborators, as well as some of our sister company locations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">From <strong>Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Angola, Mexico, India, and Malaysia<\/strong>, each nationality was given a designated area where participants could display traditional clothing, artifacts, and other symbolic objects. From Portuguese <em>past\u00e9is de nata<\/em> and Brazilian <em>caipirinh<\/em>a, to Mexican <em>tacos<\/em> and Indian curry, coworkers had the opportunity to enjoy a wide array of flavors. The opportunity to learn about different cultures and appreciate their distinctiveness helps to break down barriers, reduces biases, and builds stronger connections within the workplace.
